Product Story

Origin: The Freda trench coat is made from cotton. Cotton is a natural and fully biodegradable fibre.

Mill: The fabric is woven at a family-run mill in Italy which was established in 1946. The mill supports cotton farms with sustainable farming practices, encouraging fair pay, good working conditions, the reduction of hazardous pesticides and the efficient use of water in cotton production. The mill complies with OEKO-TEX standards for producing materials which are free from hazardous chemicals.

Buttons: The coat features a singular button made from Codelite. Codelite is a biodegradable material made from a protein element that naturally occurs in milk. The buttons are made and naturally dyed in the British Cotswolds.

Factory: Made in London supporting local producers and minimizing carbon footprint.
